Afghanistan is intensely war-affected country with the security situation significantly perilous. The humanitarian situation has worsen since 2016, with increasing number of displacement, returnees and civilian casualties have reached unprecedented levels after the commencing of peace talks between United States and Taliban back in 2018. Persistent insecurity is affecting livelihood activities of Afghans, narrowing the opportunities of peace building.

As a well-established Afghan civil society member, OCHR equips itself with far-reaching and systematic approaches of peace building. Approaches, which are inclusive, represent and endorse entire segments of Afghan societies.
