CICA has nine board members which are chosen through a competitive approach led by the chairman. there are a few key qualities that should be considered. First and foremost, board members should have a deep understanding of CICA and should also be able to provide valuable insights and perspectives that can help guide decision-making. It’s also important for board members to be well-connected. This means having a wide network of contacts that can be tapped into when needed. Furthermore, they should be able to bring in new ideas and help CICA achieve its goals. Last but not least, board members should be good communicators. They should be able to clearly express their thoughts and ideas, and listen attentively to others. The chairman is also a member of the board and heads other members giving them instruction on how they practice their role. Anyone who is interested in serving can submit their name for consideration.
